Simultaneous with installing the one-way door, we seal all current and potential points to prevent re-entry. Squirrels are incredibly powerful chewers, so there are many areas for them to force their way back in, if left untreated.
We only use humane removal methods when working with squirrels, which includes installing a “one-way door,” which allows the squirrel(s) out of the building but not back in. The one-way door opens to let them exit the building but snaps back behind them and is unable to be opened from the outside.
We use people- & pet-friendly sanitation chemicals to kill the germs, microbacteria, and diseases left behind by the squirrels, usually in their feces, as well as their pheromones / scent, which would attract other animals in the future.
