When we install the one-way door, we also seal all current and potential points to prevent re-entry. Raccoons are impressively smart, excellent climbers, and are quite powerful. Knowing how & where to seal them out is critical to a permanent solution.
We only use humane removal methods when working with raccoons, which includes installing a “one-way door,” which allows the raccoon(s) out of the building but not back in. The one-way door opens to let them exit the building but snaps back behind them and is unable to be opened from the outside.
